چکیده
Background: Port site pain remains prevalent complaint of early postoperative period after laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Objectives: to see the analgesic efficacy port-site infiltration bupivacaine in Methodology: This randomized controlled clinical trial was conducted Department Surgery, Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital, from September 2017 March 2018. Sixty patients underwent cholecystectomy were into experimental group and control by odd even number respectively. Infiltration 0.5% at port sites subcutaneously none group. Postoperative intensity measured using Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) 6, 12, 24 48 hours. Results: Pain score lesser compared hours (p< 0.001). The amount opioid needed (p=0.006) hospital stay (p=0.048) significantly Less frequent nausea/vomiting (p=0.034) bladder dysfunction (p=0.012) Conclusion: Port-site is effective reduction
